Daniel Craig & Rachel Weisz get spooked in Dream House trailer

*The first trailer for _Dream House_, the harrowing-homestead chiller starring Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz, has been unveiled.* The story concerns a family who move into a house, unaware that their new place has a creepy backstory. It seems that the previous occupants were killed, with the father being the main suspect. Anyone who has seen _The Shining_ will know that this doesn’t bode well. As well as the plot echoes, there are a couple of visual nods towards Stanley Kubrick’s peerless hotel horror (scribbles reflected in a mirror, a pair of girls haunting a corridor). Those planning to go into _Dream House_ cold might want to skip the trailer, as it goes on to give perhaps too much away… Here’s the trailer: Jim Sheridan (_My Left Foot_, _In America_, and, er, _Get Rich Or Die Tryin’_) directs, and the film is guaranteed to attract some tabloid attention after stars Craig and Weisz got married in secret last month. _Dream House_ opens in the US on 30 September 2011. Expect it to follow in the UK soon after.
